The Avondale Aquatic Center will open to the public in Spring 2024. Due to factors beyond our control, construction has been slightly delayed. We appreciate the support and understanding of our swimming and recreation community. We are looking forward to bringing exciting programming and activities to the Aquatic Center as soon as it is complete!

City officials broke ground on June 9, 2022, for the Avondale Aquatic Center located southeast of the existing City Hall and Library on West Civic Center Drive. A community priority, the Aquatic Center will be the newest wave of wellness in the West Valley. This public pool facility will become a destination to offer cutting-edge amenities and expanded recreational programming for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities. Upon completion, the Aquatic Center is to be enjoyed by many and uphold Avondale's commitment to making lives better with dynamic services and spaces to learn, play, and connect.
