Consultation has concluded
The City of Avondale Public Works Department is beginning rehabilitation project on the small diameter Sewer pipe from April 1st, 2024, through April 23, 2024, in partnership with B&F Contracting, Inc.
Background: As the City's sewer infrastructure ages, rehabilitation and maintenance become more important to assure system integrity. Repairs may also be required to maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The repairs for these 6-inch and 8-inch small diameter sewer lines will be completed using the methods of Cured-in-Place pipe (CIPP) lining, which limits the amount of open trenching required. This project will provide reliable infrastructure and sewer service to the residents of Avondale for years to come.
Location: The Sewer Lines segments are located along several areas with approximately 487 LF of 6” Sewer Line and 1,790 LF of 8” sewer line as shown in the map provided and as listed in the spread sheet below:

Schedule: Preliminary work for the project has already started in the background but the traffic control setups are expected to be put into place at the beginning of April thought the end of April.
Traffic Interruptions: The City expects to have traffic control barricades and signage setup throughout the duration of the project. Expect limited movement restrictions until the end of April. No streets will be completely closed due to this project, however access to sidewalk and shoulders may be limited. Traffic control setups are anticipated to be complete by the end of April.
