Background: As the City's sewer infrastructure ages, rehabilitation and maintenance become more important to assure system integrity. Repairs may also be required to maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The 10th Street Lift Station force main project has an approximately 4,600 linear feet of existing 12- inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) force main that is aging and deteriorated. The project scope is to replace the deteriorating DIP force main with a new 12-inch force main of a Butt-fused high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe including the installation of two air release valves (ARVs).
Further Information: The City has a 24-Hour/Day Project Hotline to answer project-related questions. For questions or more information, please call the Project Hotline at 602-532-6250.
