Will the water line work shut off my water?
The contractor will be making temporary water shut offs to replace the line to your property and the water meter. Residents will receive a door hanger advising the shut off 48 hours in advance. It is expected that the average home will be impacted roughly 2-3 hours each.
Will the contractor need to access my property?
The work will occur in the City's Right-of-Way. However, some residents have constructed fences along the sidewalk, with the water meters behind the fence. In these cases, the contractor will work with each resident in advance to gain access to the yard.
Can I park on the street?
During the work, there may be temporary on-street parking restrictions so that the crews and passing vehicles can safely operate. Advance signage will be posted prior to any restrictions.
