Every year, the City of Avondale recognizes local Avondale businesses that have positively impacted both the community and the business environment. The Leading EDGE Awards honor Avondale businesses in two categories: Community Impact and People’s Choice award.
The People’s Choice Award is nominated, voted on and selected by the public! Residents, visitors, patrons and business owners alike can nominate their favorite Avondale business to acknowledge the hard work, great customer service and overall positive impact the business provides. Voting for the People's Choice Award is done in two rounds. The 1st round is an open call to the community to nominate their favorite business. This first phase is critical in that the more nominations the business receives, the likelier they are to advance to the second round. Once the 1st round of nominations closes, the top 3 most-nominated businesses will advance to round 2. The 2nd round of voting is exclusively for the top 3 finalists. Again, the more votes, the better the chances to obtain the coveted title of People’s Choice Champion!
Voting Rules:
Individuals can vote up to once a day, everyday, for the entirety of the open voting window. Voting will be open February 12th - February 26th. Multiple votes from the same user within the same day will not be valid. Voting is limited to one per day.
