Those curious to know what development is happening or planned for the city can now take an interactive virtual tour to find out. The City of Avondale’s Development Services Department has launched an interactive Development Progress Dashboard, which can be found linked at (https://avondale.maps.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/61efc84ff1ca44ec9afbe9847b96c58f) that provides the public with an up-to-date view of active development projects in the city. Projects include single-family residential, multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
The dashboard is a collaborative effort between the Development Services Department and the Information Technology Development’s Geographic Information Services (GIS) division. It is best viewed on a tablet or desktop computer and will continue to be refined over time.
“We are excited to offer this new resource to our residents, business owners, and anyone interested in development activity in Avondale,” said Jodie Novak, Director of Development Services. “This dashboard will help keep everyone informed about current development progress in our city.”
For more information about any of the projects displayed on the map dashboard, please contact the Development Services Department at 623-333-4000.
