Purpose: The City initiated text amendments will allow for continued refinement of the Zoning Ordinance to reflect changes in policies and procedures, allow for clerical corrections, and address the overall accuracy and usability of the Zoning Ordinance. Schedule: Preliminary work for the project has already begun. Traffic control setups are expected to be put into place Mid-March 2023.
Traffic Interruptions: Traffic control barricades and signage will be setup throughout the duration of this project. Below is a tentative schedule for the traffic control restrictions:

Background: As the City's sewer infrastructure ages, rehabilitation and maintenance become more important to assure system integrity. Repairs may also be required to maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The 10th Street Lift Station force main project has an approximately 4,600 linear feet of existing 12- inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) force main that is aging and deteriorated. The project scope is to replace the deteriorating DIP force main with a new 12-inch force main of a Butt-fused high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe including the installation of two air release valves (ARVs).
